Draft - A Seaside Waltz

let the moonlight guide
the our steps across the sands

take my hand little lady and slide
stutter and stop like a
stutter the shuns
and stutter like the colorful rosebuds a samba band

let the winds brush your hair
as we move to the grind
humming

hum
of the night
twilight

blush
back and
carry us back and forth
blush and forget like only you can dance
close your eyes and
forget for a moment the ocean's sight

let the waters crash
our feet and dare
the daylight to never come into sight

fill the sands lose the shoes
and feel
twist and let the warmth flow
through my heart and into yours

watch listen to the dews glisten with our glow
feel and forget sadness, grief and remorse

so, why won't you take my hand little lady
and sway to the twilight's
night's
starlight's
tunes
into the future of
into a world of maybe.
